Every March, millions of people worldwide switch off their lights for one hour to demonstrate their unwavering dedication to protecting nature.

Nature is indispensable for constructing a safer, more resilient, and sustainable world for all—a world where everyone can thrive and coexist harmoniously. On March 23rd, Earth Hour took place, and once again, Atrium Property Services joined this global movement. During the hour from 8:30 to 9:30 pm, non-essential lighting was switched off at properties under our management.

Atrium and the buildings we manage are supporting the global movement to nurture nature and keep our shared planet healthy for future generations.

As the world becomes more conscious of the environmental impact of human activities, businesses have a responsibility to act and contribute to a more sustainable future. At Atrium Property Services, we are committed to doing our part in reducing our carbon footprint, and we are proud to announce that we will be taking part in Earth Hour by turning off non-essential the lights at all premises that we manage.

Earth Hour is an annual global event that encourages individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off their lights for one hour as a symbolic gesture to raise awareness of climate change and the need to protect our planet. This year, Earth Hour will take place on March 25th from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm local time.

We encourage our tenants and clients to join us in this effort by turning off non-essential lights during Earth Hour. We also recommend that they take this opportunity to reflect on their own energy consumption and look for ways to reduce their carbon footprint.

The event is held annually, encouraging individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off non-essential electric lights, for one hour, as a symbol of commitment to the planet.

Join us and millions of people around the world and switch off your lights on Saturday, 26 March 2022 from 8:30 – 9:30pm!

This is how we plan the event:

You may switch off your non-essential lights from 8:30 to 9:30pm
Keep a torch or flashlight at hand during the hour, in case you need it
If necessary, use non-toxic, smoke-free and non-allergic candles
Call your close friends to join the Earth Hour. Spread the word, spread the spirit!

USCE TOWER II certified with BREEAM Excellent

USCE TOWER II has been awarded the prestigious BREEAM Excellent certificate. The prime office building, developed by MPC Properties, has achieved a fantastic score of 72,4% and thus became the first certified building under the “New Construction” scheme in Serbia.

BREEAM is the world’s leading sustainability assessment method for master planning projects, infrastructure and buildings. It recognizes and reflects the value in higher performing assets across the built environment lifecycle, from new construction to in-use and refurbishment.

Atrium was appointed as assessor company and guided the developer successfully through the entire certification process.
